Join Matthias Hanel on this flight report as he flies the DC-9 Classic from Stavanger in southern Norway all the way up to the far north for a landing in snowy Tromsø.
With so many aircraft designs flying around, why choose to develop a DC-9 for FSX? It’s a cool aircraft! What more do you need?! Well, actually the logic behind choosing to develop the DC-9 goes a bit deeper than that. I will try to explain.
The DC-9 Classic manuals are now available as free downloads. If you would like to have a look at the User Manual (product details and features) or the Aircraft Operating Manual (operations and system descriptions) to see what the DC-9 Classic is all about or maybe get a head start on your type rating on the DC-9, please feel free to download them here.

The sound files contained within this package are a bit louder and more powerful than those included in the original DC-9 Classic sound set. While this may not be more realistic than the original sound set, it certainly has a great impact on the overal immersion factor and feeling of being there when flying the DC-9 Classic.
