Matthias made a flight from Billund, Denmark (EKBI) to Vagar, Faroe Islands (EKVG) and wrote up this short PIREP detailing his adventure.
After some shorter learning and test flights I put up the first longer trip, leading from Billund, Denmark, to Vagar on the Faroe Islands.
Early morning we're boarding our 87 passengers. Together with 6228 pounds of cargo and 15000 pounds of fuel our TOGW will be 98178lb..
Getting ready for push and start
On our way to the holdingpoint of runway 27
Initial climb, thereafter following the Ramme2C departure
Climbing to FL350
Great sunrise today!
Passing overhead Stavanger Sola
Somewhere over the sea..
In descend we're passing over the Faroe Islands
The airport is already in sight on our left, we're inbound MY NDB for the Loc/DME procedure on runway 12.. LOWI-style.
After a teardrop turn we're intercepting the localizer
Passing the village Gasaladur during the approach
The last turn onto the runway centerline is done visually
Spoilers up, reverse with 1.6 EPR
Deboarding at Vagar airport
Hope you liked it! ;)
